Chapter 1: The Clock Tower
The Happy Mask Salesman knew the clock tower had always served as a portal between worlds. It was a path he traveled frequently due to his trade, after all. But what surprised him the most was how a child, a Hylian child (though currently in the body of a deku), somehow had come across the path to Termina. After realizing who the child was however, he did not feel as surprised, and upon discovering that the boy, Link, had also had an encounter with the Skull Child, the Salesman saw reason to set the child out on a quest to return the boy to his Hylian form.
Of course, all of this had come with a price.

On such evenings, where the sun would dip past the horizon, many people would have gazed skyward to view the soft glowing moon, eager to have their eyes met with a magnificent sight.
However, since this was no such evening, what one’s eyes met with were the malicious red eyes of the moon itself as it threatened to inch closer to the earth. No poet, either Hylian or Terminian, would ever find inspiration so much as fear for the fate of the world in such a sight.
It was in this scene where a young man, his throat thick with fear and worry, glanced upward every so often to view the ever-present threat. T
